As Alumni Professor of Accounting, Dr. Kemsley teaches core accounting course, energy accounting, financial statement analysis, professional accounting research, and professional tax research for the following programs: MBA, Executive MBA, Professional MBA, Master of Finance, and Master of Accounting.

Dr. Kemsley was the Manager at Coopers & Lybrand, San Francisco, California between March, 1987 to April, 1991 where he was in charge of providing tax and investment consulting services to about eighty individual business executives. He also researched technical tax issues, taught national and local courses; and instructor training course on regular basis.
