Dr. Hirschinger is a Medical Expert Witness who is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and a lecturer at UCLA in Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine. He has also been a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at USC School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hirschinger obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana in May 1981, Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Southern California School of Dentistry, Los Angeles, California in May 1985 and Masters of Business Administration (with Honors) from University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, Los Angeles, California in May 2001.
Dr. Hirschinger said 90% of the patients who come to him come with complaints of TMJ. He can also address the allegations of nerve damage and handles this as well as primary headaches, secondary headaches, myofacial pain, neuropathic pain, and sleep apnea.
Dr. Hirschinger has a published paper as well which is Digital Dentistry: Information Technology for Today’s (and Tomorrow’s) Dental Practice – The Journal of the California Dental Association (Vol 29 No. 3 Pages 215-225) in March, 2001. He was also the President of North Beverly Drive/Franklin Canyon Homeowner’s Association from 1996 to 2006.
