Hamid R. Djalilian, M.D. is a Otolaryngology (ENT) Expert Witness and a double Board Certified in Otolaryngology and Neurotology (the study of neurological disorders of the ear). He is the current Director at UC Irvine Health Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery Services. Dr. Djalilian has provided editorial services for countless journals including Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery as well as Annals of Otology, Rhinology and Laryngology. Additionally, he has held instructional courses and published extensively in the field of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Djalilian completed BA in Chemistry (Summa Cum Laude) from Carleton College, Northfield, MN in June, 1992 and MD from University of Minnesota Medical School Minneapolis, MN in June, 1996. Furthermore, he did his Internship (Preliminary Surgery) from Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN in 1996-97 and Residency (Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery) from University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN (1997 to 2001).
Dr. Djalilian has had peer reviewed research papers published such as: Stereotactic radiosurgery for recurrent malignant gliomas – Journal of Clinical Oncology (1995), 13:1642-1648; Brain metastases: Histology, multiplicity, surgery and survival – Cancer (1996), 78:1781-1788 and An analytical review – Journal of Neurooncology (1998), 36:247-257.
Along with that, Dr. Djalilian has also been an invited speaker at regional, national and international meetings.
