Bryan C. Randles, M.S. is an Accident Reconstruction/Biomechanics Expert Witness. He states approximately 50% to 60% of the cases he works on encompass both accident reconstruction and biomechanics; he has been involved in 300-400 cases where he performed both the accident reconstruction and biomechanics.
Mr. Randles received his Masters in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Biomechanics from California State University Northridge, in 2003 and his Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from University of Southern California in 1997.
Mr. Randles conducts research on the biomechanics, human response and injury potential of vehicular impacts. He has worked on over 1,000 motor vehicle accident cases. He performs fully instrumented tests utilizing human subjects and/or human surrogates. He has evaluated vehicular impact behavior, including various techniques for measuring vehicle crash and the assessment of vehicle damage, as well as vehicle crash and post impact dynamics.
Furthermore, Mr. Randles has conducted crash tests for various televised programs regarding automotive impacts and occupant response to impact, and conducted research regarding the use of photogrammetry in accident reconstruction. He also performs biomechanical and accident reconstruction analyses off automotive accidents and various events for purposes of litigation, including impact reconstruction, occupant kinematics, occupant force exposure and injury potential.
