David M. Alessi, MD is an Otolaryngology (ENT) Expert Witness has over 30 years of experience as an ENT doctor and over 25 years of experience as an expert witness. He is a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners; the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery; and the American Board of Forensic Examiners.
Dr. Alessi received B.S. degree in Biochemistry from Michigan State University in 1979. He was also a Ph.D. Candidate – Pharmacology Department at the Wayne State University in 1982 and completed M.D. at the Wayne State University Medical School in 1983.
Dr. Alessi did his Straight Surgical Internship at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center from 6/83 to 6/84 and Straight Surgical Residency at the U.C.L.A. School of Medicine from 6/84 to 6/85. He was also a Resident of Otolaryngology at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles from 11/86 to 12/86 and Resident of Head and Neck Surgery at U.C.L.A. School of Medicine from 7/84 to 6/88.
Dr. Alessi is a past Member of the American Society for Otolaryngologic Allergy and was an invited lecture/presenter for “Treating Acute Bacterial Sinusitis in Today’s Resistant Environment” as well as many other presentations on sinusitis. Most of the patients he is treating have allergies and sinusitis. He also has extensive experience treating patients with mold exposure.
