Lance S. Coren, C.A.A., C.M.A. is an Automotive Appraiser Expert Witness who has been an automotive appraiser and consultant for over 35 years. He has been a member of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, Southern California Fraud Investigators Association, International Society of Automotive Appraisers, Society of Automotive Engineers and the Society of Automotive Structural Engineers.
Dr. Coren received his B.S. degree from Van Norman University, Los Angeles and an M.B.A. from Cal-Western University in Santa Ana. He also holds a Certificate from the SAE/UCLA Traffic Institute; and received CCC Advanced Training Program – Collision Estimating as well as ADP Advanced Training Program – Collision Estimating.
Mr. Coren holds an Expert Master Appraiser Type of Designation from the International Automotive Appraisers Association (IAAA), the leading automotive appraisal association in the world, and a Master Expert Designation from the International Organization of Experts to The United Nations (ORDINEX); he is also certified for Material Damage Analysis (IICAR and ASE).
In addition, Mr. Coren also holds an expert auto appraisal registration with the United States Internal Revenue Service and was inducted into the Automotive Appraisal Hall of Fame in 2007. He states that he has appraised cars for most, if not all, the major insurance carriers and many of the major auto manufacturers.
