Mark M. Urata, MD, DDS, FACS, FAAP – an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon/Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon Expert Witness, is both an MD and DDS. He is Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. In addition, Dr. Urata is the Audrey Skirball Kenis Endowed Chair and Chief, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He treats adults and children.
Dr. Urata is responsible administratively for the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Keck School of Medicine of USC and the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. His specific responsibilities include ensuring the provision of optimal, safe, and compassionate care for plastic surgery and oral surgery patients within the USC enterprise along with the faculty development, staffing, and fiscal viability.
