Reed H. Day, MD, DMD, FACS, FACD is a Dentist/Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon Expert Witness and is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists.
Dr. Day received his B.A. from University of Washington and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard School of Dental Medicine; he also received his M.D. from Harvard. He states that he treats ankylosis as it presents itself and often treats patients who have received trauma to the maxillary bone.
Dr. Day did an Internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and another in General Surgery Service from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was also the Junior Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; Junior Resident PGY-2 in General Surgery Service; and Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery; at the Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Day has given numerous presentations and authored various publications throughout his career. He has also completed several Continuing Programs. He was the Guest Speaker at Arizona Orthodontic Society Meeting in 1991; and Academy of Osseointegration Annual Session in 1993.
