Accident Reconstruction Expert. ACC-1771 is a private investigator, accident reconstructionist, and partner in a consulting, investigation and engineering firm in Southern California. He is also an instructor for the Sheriffs Academy in Southern California, where he teaches courses pertaining to the following: human factors, related occupant kinematics and injury analysis; physics; statistical applications; speed from damage; and accident reconstruction methodology. ACC-1771 worked over 14 years for the Santa Ana police and City of Orange police departments. His assignments included the Crime Prevention Unit for 9 years and then team leader for the Accident Investigation Team for over 5 years. While employed as a police officer he conducted investigations of all types, from minor non-injury collisions to fatalities.
