Mr. Campbell is a Technical Expert Witness who is a Registered Professional Engineer and a Human Factors and Life Safety expert located in South Carolina. He states he does a lot of premises liability work and that he has worked on 2-3 dozen wheel stop slip/trip and fall cases and a couple 100 slip/trip and fall cases. He explained that there is a good industry standard for wheel stops and that he is comfortable opining to premises liability, parking lot safety risks, measuring distances, coefficient of friction, etc.
Mr. Campbell did the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at The Citadel and Master of Science in Applied psychology with concentration in Human Factors at Clemson University. He was also a Human Factors PhD candidate at the Clemson University.
Mr. Campbell has over 25 years of experience as a practicing engineer and life safety consultant responsible for accident investigations, building code interpretations, facility condition assessments and engineering investigations related to accidents, personal injuries and building code violations.
Mr. Campbell has provided expert witness testimony related to human factors, falls on stairs and common areas, building code violations, defective construction and life safety issues. He has had extensive academic education in the areas of human factors, ergonomics, safety and usability.
