Albert J. Ferrari, P.E., CSP is a Mechanical Engineer/Safety Expert Witness who is also Board Certified by the International Board of Forensic Engineering Sciences. He states he has worked on over 600 slip, trip and fall cases and that numerous of those cases involved mats that plaintiffs fell over. He also states he works on the safety standards committee for walkways.
Mr. Ferrari received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Santa Clara in 1969. He is experienced both in the micro and in the macro focus. Mr. Ferrari’s forensic engineering includes experience in accident reconstruction, casual analysis, failure analysis, etc.
Mr. Ferrari’s background includes practical hands-on machine shop and repair work as well as shop supervision, forklift operation, and truck, bus, and high performance driving. Engineering work includes: automotive engineering, pedestrian facilities, machine design, thermal and mechanical energy analysis, structural load and stress analysis, piping and tanks, system safety and human factors analysis associated with design of hazardous equipment.
Furthermore, Mr. Ferrari has experience in Forensic engineering which includes 32 years experience in accident reconstruction, causal analysis, failure analysis, codes, standards and regulations, consulting and testimony.
