Biomechanics Expert. BIO-1365 is the director of the Implant Performance Laboratory at an orthopedic hospital and research center, where he is also a member of the Research Committee, Institutional Review Board, and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee. He teaches undergraduate courses in orthopedic biomechanics and assists graduate students, clinical faculty, orthopedic research fellows, residents, and medical students with a wide range of research issues. The results of his own research projects in the area of orthopedics are widely published in scientific journals. He previously worked as a manufacturing and industrial engineer with Superior Industries International in Van Nuys, California, and as a biomedical research engineer with the University of Southern California.
