Christopher Gayner, MSME is a Technical Expert Witness who is the present Owner/CEO/Senior Consultant for Expert Reconstruction; a company with a complete traffic accident reconstruction service for attorneys, insurance companies, etc. He is ACTAR certified by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstructionist and has 30 years of experience as a forensic engineering expert. Nearly 100% of his work is comprised of auto-related accidents ranging from accident reconstruction, accident causation, etc.
Mr. Gayner received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Montana State University, Bozeman, MT in 1986 where he also received the Outstanding Graduating Senior Award. After that, he did Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of California in Santa Barbara, CA.
Mr. Gayner was also a Graduate eaching Assistant at the University of California. He was the teaching assistant and tutor for undergraduate university level mechanical engineering courses: Engineering Mechanics (Statics), Engineering Mechanics (Dynamics), Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing.
Mr. Gayner has also received special trainings such as Traffic Accident Reconstruction I (December 1987) and Traffic Accident Reconstruction II (July 1988) from the Northwestern University Traffic Institute in Evanston, IL, Computer Reconstructions (EDCRASH) and Computer Simulators (EDSMAC) in January 1989 and August 1989 respectively from Engineering Dynamics Corporation in Lake Oswego, OR and Accidental Injury: Biomechanics and Prevention (November 1991) from UCSD School of Medicine in La Jolla, CA to name a few.
