Construction Safety Expert. CON-1689 has over 38 years of experience in the construction industry and has been a safety specialist for the past 25 years. He was a compliance officer and trainer for the State of Oregon, where he was a troubleshooter for complicated construction safety issues. He also developed many of today’s construction industry safety programs. Over the years he has worked as an expert witness on numerous construction-related cases. CON-1689 is now corporate safety director for an electrical construction company.
