Emergency Medicine Expert. EME-1079 is the medical director of a hospital’s Emergency Department. He is also an assistant professor of clinical surgery in a medical school’s Section of Emergency Medicine. He has served on many hospital committees, including the Emergency Department Urgent Care Committee and the Emergency Medicine Operations Committee. He is currently a physician-patient relations liaison for the Emergency Department. EME-1079 has published articles and book chapters on such topics as soft tissue infections, heat-related illness, and hypertensive emergencies. He has also made presentations on pediatric head trauma, managed care, and other topics.
