John F. Murphy is an OSHA Expert Witness and has approximately 25 years of experience in areas such as a construction worker, owner and safety. He explains he’s a certified OSHA Construction Trainer and an InterNACHI Certified Home and Commercial Inspector.
Mr. Murphy has recently started a Safety Training, Inspection and Investigation based company that incorporated Commercial and Residential Property Inspections, after holding positions in the construction industry as an Owner Operator building custom residential homes, a Commercial Construction Industry Safety Manager, Project Manager, etc.
Mr. Murphy states that he has extensive knowledge and experience not only in Cal/OSHA T8 CCR, which is the construction regulations and standards for California but also in General Orders, Southern California Edison (SCE) rules and regulations and the Federal regulations under OSHA 1910 and 1926 Title 29 CFR.
Mr. Murphy estimates he has performed approximately 100 causal factor inspections. He also oversaw an Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) on the campus of USC as the Owners Safety Representative (OSR) where he had daily activity performing strategic risk management, solutions and giving recommendations to prevent, identify, reduce or eliminate hazardous conditions during the construction of a bio-science building.
