Kerry Snyder, MLA is a Technical Expert Witness and a Registered Landscape Architect and holds a Masters in Landscape Architecture. He works in both the construction and maintenance of landscapes. As the founder and principal of his firm, Mr. Snyder is responsible for the design, coordination, implementation and maintenance of various residential and commercial landscape installations.
Mr. Snyder studied Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Administration at University of Alberta, Canada in 1977 and Master of Landscape Architecture at University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada in 1981.
Mr. Snyder states he is familiar with the codes related to electrical and water lines involved with single trenching. He goes on to mention that there is a proper procedure to follow when removing irrigation lines near electrical conduits, so as to avoid hitting the electrical conduit and reduce risk of injury. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the California Landscape Contractors Association.
As a graduate, Mr. Snyder designed a computer program for integrating landscape architecture designs and life cycle costing. This program can be used not only in determining capital costs, but providing operating, maintenance and salvage costs of projects and programs before the final project designs are complete.
