Leo F. Romero, D.C., – a Chiropractor Expert Witness, is the owner and clinic director of four chiropractic offices located in Tacoma, Federal Way, Kent, and Kent Burien. He has been a practicing chiropractor in Washington State for over 29 years. His expertise lies in evaluating the normal biodynamic and injury mechanisms to the human body, clinical diagnosis, management of soft tissue injuries, and short/long term prognosis. He is also an expert in chiropractic treatment protocols with description of medical-legal implications and reconstruction of occupant kinematics.
Dr. Romero graduated in 1992 from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles. Dr. Romero was appointed in 2000 as a Commissioner to the Washington State Department of Health, Chiropractic Quality Assurance Commission where he served as the Commission’s Chairman until 2007.
Dr. Romero has also done an advanced certification course of study completion in the diagnosis and clinical management of the cervical acceleration/deceleration trauma, whiplash related disorders, and accident reconstruction with low impact injuries
Additionally, Dr. Romero is a Fellow for the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards. He has also been active with the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners Competency Committee. In addition, Dr. Romero served on an Advisory Committee at Highline Community College for the Chiropractic Technician Program in which he successfully helped co-author a manual for the development of a new college curriculum for chiropractic technicians.
