Mechanical Engineer Expert. MEC-1527 is a consulting forensic engineer and ethics lecturer. He brings with him 27 years of mechanical engineering experience. He has given expert testimony in the following areas: aircraft & helicopter structural failure, inadvertent actuation of pneumatic nail guns, extension ladder slip-out failures, industrial mixing/grinding machinery design parameters, machine tools and fixtures design and use, trade secrets and intellectual property, and step stool slip-out failure. He also has industrial experience with the Space Shuttle program, missiles and military equipment, and aircraft and ground equipment. He has testified before various governmental agencies, including the Presidential Commission investigating the Challenger disaster.
