Mechanical Engineer Expert. MEC-1537 is an associate professor of materials science in the Chemical and Biomedical Engineering department of a Southern California university. He has also consulted on failure analysis and materials data analysis for the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, 3D Instruments, Inc., GWR Instruments, Corbett and Steelman, and other engineering and law firms. He is vice-chair of the editorial review board of Metallurgical and Materials Transactions and is an editor and reviewer for several other scientific journals. He has worked in the past with the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research.
