Mechanical Engineering Expert. MEC-1532 opened his own engineering practice after associations with respected architectural and engineering firm, and the California State Division of Architecture. An innovative engineer and designer, he has been a pioneer in the development of energy conservation methods, particularly co-generation. He was selected to review the proposed Title 24 energy conservation code for the state of California. An accomplished writer and lecturer, MEC-1532 has published more than 100 articles on all aspects of mechanical engineering in building design. He has authored 3 books and helped obtain the largest grant for an energy conservation project for schools awarded in the western states by the U.S. Department of Energy.
