Metallurgist Expert. MET-1030 is a professional metallurgical engineer with over seventeen years of experience in failure analysis and problem-solving. Presently, he is an independent metallurgical consultant for an engineering firm in Southern California. He was formerly director of laboratory operations at Mettek Laboratories, where he supervised laboratory and office staff in all aspects of the company’s failure analysis and research activities. He is also a former principal engineer for General Electric (Nuclear Energy Division), where he was involved in numerous projects concerned with materials in nuclear power plants and with joint technology programs with Japanese and European companies. Earlier in his career he obtained working experience in the steel making and processing industries at various British Steel Corporation facilities in England.
