Roger A. Isom, B.S. is an Agriculture/Food Safety Expert Witness who is the current President/CEO of Western Agricultural Processors Association where he regularly performs environmental and safety audits of almond hullers and farming operations. He received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the California State University, Fresno.
Mr. Isom states that he has been in the industry for 26 years and is familiar with the practice of harvesting almonds as well as with the equipment used in harvesting; he is responsible for a Conservation Management Plan that assists almond growers in practicing safe and proper harvesting methods.
As the President/CEO of Western Agricultural Processors Association, Mr. Isom is responsible for managing day to day operations of the association representing tree nut handlers and processors including almonds, pecans, pistachios and walnuts.
Mr. Isom is also responsible for managing day to day operation of consulting arm of Western Agricultural Processors Association for various agricultural processing operations including tomato plants, vegetable dehydrators, cotton gins, nut processing facilities and farms.
