Roger K. Light, Ph.D., ABPP/ABCN is a Neuropsychology Expert Witness and a Diplomate in Clinical Neuropsychology and an elected Fellow of the National Academy of Neuropsychology. He states traumatic brain injuries are one of his specialties; it is the most common injury he sees both in his medical practice as well as in his forensic work.
Dr. Light studied BA in Psychology at the University of California, San Diego, CA from 1973 to 1977 and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana from 1977 to 1984 where he minored in Quantitative Psychology and Neural Sciences. He did his Pre-Doctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at Camarillo State Hospital, California from 1981 to 1982 and Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Developmental Neuropsychology at UCLA – Neuropsychiatric Institute from 1984 to 1986.
Dr. Light is currently an Assistant Clinical and Research Professor for the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at UCLA-NPI and a Clinical Neuropsychologist in his own private practice.
Dr. Light is experienced in providing rehabilitation services to neurological rehab patients, clinical supervision and training to patients and staff. He also has experience with autistic children, neurological, and severely mentally ill patients.
