Safety Engineer Expert. SAF-1173 has been providing forensic engineering and litigation support consulting services for 23 years. He has experience in several technical areas, including traffic and industrial accident reconstruction, mechanical and structural product liability, and construction claims analysis. SAF-1173 began his teaching career in 1974 as a lecturer for San Jose State University. He then became assistant professor, and later adjunct associate professor, for USCs Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering. He also has produced more than 24 publications and technical writings within the fields of human factors engineering, safety engineering and accident analysis.
