Safety Expert. The owner of a risk management company since 1992, SAF-1696 has experience managing safety for public and private organizations, as an administrator and as a safety engineer. He also has extensive experience in preparing, presenting, and conducting seminars and workshops addressing risk management and safety and health issues. He is an instructor for the National Safety Council and the author of two publications: So youre the Safety Director and Safety is a People Business. SAF-1696 was a safety manager for six years with the United States Department of Justice. After a stint as a safety engineer for NASA and Lockheed, he spent seven years as a senior engineer and account specialist with the St. Paul (Minnesota) Fire & Marine Insurance Company. This was followed by several years as corporate risk management director for Automatic Producers International.
