Shun Newbern, MS, BS, is a Mortuary/Embalming Expert Witness, and owns and operates a mortuary and is experienced in embalming nearly 12,000 decedents with various types of conditions over the past 20 years. He is a Licensed Embalmer and Funeral Director. He is also an Adjunct Professor in a mortuary science program at a city college.
Mr. Newburn studied Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and Master of Science in Leadership and Management from the University of LaVerne, Orange County Campus, Irvine, CA. He also holds a Mortuary of Science Degree from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science.
Mr. Newbern is the owner of Shun Newbern & Associates (SNA). The core competencies of SNA lie in providing litigation consulting, case review and expert witness services for various state, federal, and private matters. As a licensed embalmer, Shun has experience embalming and supervising in both small and large sized mortuaries.
