Thomas C. Chen, M.D., Ph.D., MHA is a Neurosurgery Expert Witness and a Board Certified Neurosurgeon (recertified 2000, 2010) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeon. He is currently a Professor of Neurosurgery with Tenure at the Keck School of Medicine at University of Southern California as well as a practicing Neurosurgeon.
Dr. Chen studied B.S. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1984 and M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco in 1988. Furthermore, he did his Internship in Surgery and Residency in Neurosurgery from the University of Southern California. He completed a Fellowship in Complex Spine Surgery from Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Chen also studied Ph.D. in Experimental Pathology; Masters in Health Administration and Masters in Clinical and Biomedical Investigations (to be completed) from the University of Southern California. He has also mentored several Students, Residents and Postdoctoral Fellows.
Dr. Chen has authored numerous Peer Reviewed publications, Abstracts, Chapters and Editorships. He has also written a few editorials and letters to the editor. Dr. Chen has also been an invited lecturer nationally and internationally.
